Magnetrol International Incorporated announced it has joined the family of AMETEK Corporation companies.
Magnetrol will continue its operational headquarters in Aurora, Il. as part of the Sensors, Test and Calibration (STC) Business Unit and Measurement, Communications & Testing (MCT) Division of AMETEK.
“It is important that the suppliers to Magnetrol view this as a seamless transition,” states Darren Meyer, director of Factory Sales, Planning & Procurement, STC BU Ametek/Magnetrol. “Magnetrol Purchase Order and Supply Agreement commitments will be honoured by AMETEK. It is critical that the Magnetrol supply base continue to execute to the highest level of quality and delivery performance to meet Magnetrol’s expectations through this transition and moving forward.”
During the following weeks the Supply Chain management team of STC/Magnetrol may reach out you on specific matters related to the transition, adds Meyer. “The lines of communication that you have enjoyed in the past will continue to be open to you as normal.”
AMETEK, Inc. is a global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices with annualized sales of approximately $5 billion.
“We trust that you will advise us of any issues that arise that may hinder you from maintaining uninterrupted supply of product or services to the Magnetrol operation,” continues Meyer. “I am sure we agree that the main objective is to complete this transition successfully for all parties without impacting the end customer of Magnetrol.”
