Bearings manufacturer garners top global recognition

C&U Americas, LLC, the North American subsidiary of the C&U Group and one of the world’s top eight bearing manufacturers and China’s largest bearing producer, was recognized as the Nexteer Automotive 2020 Outstanding Global Supplier.
The award, which honoured C&U Americas for its exceptional support and outstanding service, was the only global supplier award presented by Nexteer in 2020.
“Receiving this Outstanding Supplier Award from Nexteer Automotive is a tribute to our ability to adapt to the many challenges our industry experienced this year. We are truly honoured by this coveted award and very proud of our team’s continued efforts and dedication in providing the utmost in customer service to our partners,” said C&U Americas President Jason Stocker, who accepted the award.
C&U Americas was recognized for establishing global production planning to help facilitate on-time delivery to Nexteer, expanding their product offerings to allow for the development of new products, and the use of a dedicated global communication interface to establish efficient conversation between the companies.
The award was presented virtually, during Nexteer’s Global Supplier Conference on November 3, 2020, by Zongxiang Huang, Nexteer Automotive Enterprise Commodity Manager – Bearing & Rubber Parts.
Nexteer Automotive is a multibillion-dollar global steering and driveline business delivering electric and hydraulic steering systems, steering columns and driveline systems, as well as ADAS and automated driving technologies for OEMs around the world.
C&U Americas offers a full line of bearing types and styles for use in original equipment manufacturing, aftermarket replacement, and MRO operations. The C&U portfolio includes over 30,000 types of bearings in a wide range of specifications and sizes ranging from 1.5mm ID to 4000mm OD.
As China’s largest bearing producer and one of the world’s top 10 bearing manufacturers, C&U has eight bearing manufacturing centres to reach a daily production capacity of four million units.
