As people continue to self-isolate amid fears of the potential risk of contracting COVID-19, companies are moving to reassure everyone that their supply chain, workplaces and products are safe.
“During this time of heightened concern over COVID-19 we want to be transparent on our plans for continued production and support to our customers during these unprecedented times,”  says Axel Lindenbeck, president of Stainless Valve Co. “The health of our employees and their families, our customers, and our vendors are of paramount importance and we take that into account in our activities.”
Lindenbeck adds that employees are practicing the guidelines provided by the WHO and CDC with regards to social distancing and increased hygiene.
“High traffic areas are sanitized more frequently and breaks/lunch is staggered to avoid close contact in break room and rest room areas.”
For the moment, no visitors are being allowed into the production facility, aside from employees, and employees are not visiting customer sites “unless absolutely necessary and critical.”
“We will continue production unless mandated to close by the relevant authorities,” states Lindenbeck, adding that “non-manufacturing support will continue uninterrupted,” encouraging those who do have inquiries to do so, as staff will be on hand to assist.
