Two Canadian companies are coming together to cement their presence in the Atlantic region.
Crandall Engineering Ltd. a consulting engineering firm founded over 60 years ago in Moncton, N.B., and soils, materials and environmental engineering firm Englobe Corp., are joining forces.
By teaming up, Crandall and Englobe become a major service provider in Atlantic Canada, with five offices and nearly 200 staff, including a local presence in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
“Crandall’s team has experienced significant growth in recent years,” says Mike Cormier, former President of Crandall and new Vice President Operations – Atlantic Canada. “With Englobe, we intend to continue on our path, and provide exciting new opportunities to the people and to the communities in Atlantic Canada as well as comprehensive solutions to our clients.”
Cormier is currently responsible for all operations in the region.
Both companies will offer their complementary services to each other’s clients in Atlantic Canada, which include municipalities, provincial and federal governments, and private companies.

Crandall and Englobe will continue to operate under their respective names.
Englobe was founded over 50 years ago and has 1,800 employees working in more than 65 locations across Canada, in France and in the United-Kingdom.
Crandall is an employee-owned company founded in 1952 with a team of 115 dedicated people. With a presence in the four Atlantic provinces through a variety of projects, it provides engineering solutions for Municipal, Water/Wastewater, Transportation, Land Development, Building Mechanical and Electrical services.
