Cott taps Jamieson to be global CIO

Cott Corporation announced the appointment of William “Jamie” Jamieson as its Global Chief Information Officer effective immediately, reporting directly to Tom Harrington, Cott’s Chief Executive Officer.
“We are very excited to have Mr. Jamieson lead the evolution of our customer and business platforms and to ensure that we are embracing and developing new and existing technologies while working with our customers, partners and suppliers to ensure our IT discipline is at a world-class level,” said Tom Harrington, Cott’s Chief Executive Officer.
Jamieson will lead the global IT function and play a key role in shaping the technology agenda across the Cott family of businesses. Most recently, he served as GNC’s senior vice president and chief information officer, where he oversaw GNC’s enterprise technology teams and platforms.
“Mr. Jamieson brings over 25 years of IT experience and will be responsible for the development and management of our IT associate workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills and competencies that balance the needs between growing the agility required to achieve digital business objectives and ensuring the core IT functions are reliable, stable and efficient,” said Harrington.
Before joining GNC, Jamieson was VP – IT Service Delivery for Charming Charlie where he oversaw corporate IT services, store systems, marketing systems and financial systems for the company. Prior to joining Charming Charlie, Jamieson spent almost 10 years with Chico’s FAS supporting the company’s rapid growth and expansion.
