COVID forces cancellation of in-person technical conference

The MBAA District Ontario Technical Committee (OTC) has decided to cancel the January 26-28 in-person Technical Conference.
“The technical committee really worked hard this past year to organize a safe in-person conference with outstanding content,” says Jonathan Morse, MBAA District Ontario Technical Chair. “Alas, the effect of COVID-19 Omicron in the Province of Ontario and the public health response has eliminated any chance of hosting the event.”
Instead, as they did in 2021, the committee will instead prepare to deliver a series of technical webinars throughout the year, with detailed announcements to follow as the new agenda comes together.
“I want to thank the Technical Committee and the Executive Committee for all the support and impeccable teamwork. It should also be noted that we are also thankful for excellent sponsorship that would have been provided: financial, beer donations and venue support for the brewery tour. We rely on this year after year do hold the high standard for the event,” says Morse.
