CPCA to livestream cyber security hybrid event with Phoenix Contact Canada

Cyber Security in the Process Industry is the topic for the next presentation in the Virtual Industry Insights series from the Canadian Process Control Association (CPCA).

This CPCA hybrid event will both be livestreamed from the headquarters of Phoenix Contact Canada in Burlington, ON, where guests can also attend (Register Here). The event is supported by Lambton College, primarily located in Sarnia, ON, but also has international student campuses in Mississauga and Toronto.

The event on October 18 at 2:00 p.m. will be presented by Tyler Burke (above), product manager for Automation at Phoenix Contact Canada, for the past 10 years. Prior to this, Burke began his career in technical support, moving into field applications before assuming his current role.

His expertise in automation, functional safety and networking has taken him on assignment throughout Canada as well as Germany and the U.S.

Burke sits on the Electro-Federation of Canada’s Cyber Security taskforce reviewing CSA’s standards. He is also TUV certified as a Functional Safety Technician.
