Canada’s largest gas and LNG event is pushing the date back again, citing the delay in reopening the border.

dmg::events has made the decision to postpone the Canada Gas & LNG Exhibition from August to May 2022 following the announcement of the delay of reopening of international borders to September 7, 2021, states a press release from organizers.

The decision was made to move the event to May 10-12, 2022 was also made after examining an extensive survey among all stakeholders including visitors, delegates and exhibitors.

The August date was initially set when the lingering effects of the COVID-19 shutdown had organizers move the May event to later this summer.

“dmg::events is committed to delivering exceptional value to all participants of the event and this difficult decision to postpone the event to 2022 comes from that commitment,” state organizers.

The event will now shift to the Vancouver Convention Centre, at full capacity, May 10-12, 2022, and organizers will be in touch with all the participants of the show to discuss the details of their participation in 2022.
