Everest Automation acquires Nova Scotia’s Coastal Controls

Everest Automation acquired Coastal Controls & Instrumentation Inc. in Nova Scotia earlier this month, a distributor of instrumentation and control products in the Atlantic region, and the ABB Instrumentation channel partner in this area.
According to a statement posted to LinkedIn, the move by Everest is part of its continued growth in eastern Canada and the Atlantic provinces.

Coastal Controls was founded 21 years ago by John Barkhouse and Sandy Fullarton, and “both John and Sandy will remain with the company, as will the rest of their team to continue coverage of the Atlantic provinces,” states the press release.
