The Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS) is looking to the future for 2019, and part of that future in manufacturing includes smart technologies.
“The Smart Manufacturing Hub at CMTS is a dynamic area in the SME ZONE featuring advanced manufacturing technologies like automation, advanced materials, additive manufacturing and 3D printing,” states a press release from CMTS.
The SME ZONE is the nerve centre of everything happening at CMTS, where you can learn how to grow your business and advance your career.
“SME can help you keep up with advancing technology, maintain your innovative edge, develop your workforce, help you close the skills gap, connect you with the manufacturing industry, expand your network, and much more,” states the information page on the CMTS website.
Innovations that are a part of the industrial internet of things (IIoT) will include insightful technical presentations combined with resources from leading technology providers, like Pinnacle Solutions Inc., Mazak Corporation, FESTO, Siemens Canada Ltd. and HP 3D Printing.
Running Sept. 30 – Oct. 3, CMTS 2019 is expected to attract more than 9,000 manufacturing professionals from across the country and the world and will feature more than 430 exhibits – with some 700 industry suppliers represented – more than 80 education sessions and four workshops.
