Building on the company’s 25 years’ presence in China and to meet the growing demand for its potato products, McCain Foods has announced the investment of US$200 million into a second local production facility to be located in Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Development Zone, Shaanxi Province in China.

Through increased capacity and specialized production capability, working closely with local farmers to source high-quality raw potatoes, McCain Foods will continue to lead innovation in frozen potato products that meet growing market demand for locally prepared products across a range of cuisines.

The ethics and perspective of being a family-owned business from a small town in New Brunswick is at the core of how McCain Foods makes business decisions, the company says, cares for its employees and engages with local customers around the globe.

As a global company, Toronto-based McCain Foods operates in 160 countries around the world, with 51 facilities located in local markets to best serve its customers.
