Mississauga, Ont.’s Mpac Langen will be exhibiting at IBIE 2019, the Western Hemisphere’s largest grain-based industry event on Sept. 8-11.
Taking place in Las Vegas, Nev., the event hosts more than 23,000 key decision makers from the global baking industry.
The adoption of fully automated packaging machinery solutions is a vital part of the global food industry in 2019, according to Mpac’s managing director for the Americas Michael Brown.

Michael Brown

“Population growth and changing consumer behaviour has had a significant impact on the landscape of the food industry as a whole. The world over, we have seen a huge rise in demand for ready-to-eat foods products from cereal bars, to biscuits, to pizzas and other baked goods,” says Brown.
“Companies need to be ready to meet these changing demands head on and prepare to adapt for the food industry’s future. Automation is key to doing this. Automated production lines increase output and improve efficiency, helping businesses scale up to meet new needs,” continues Brown.“Mpac’s automated packaging machinery solutions offer a level of flexibility and output capacity capable of meeting current market requirements and adapting to new developments in an ever-evolving industry. This is what we want to showcase at IBIE 2019.”
