No-touch restrooms gain popularity as COVID-19 spreads

Recent world events have underscored just how important it is to human health to avoid touching surfaces in public places. Germ survival rates on surfaces vary widely; however, even a few hours are too long and can promote the spread of pathogens among local populations.
Hands-free sinks, soap dispensers, and hand dryers are already standard in many public restrooms. According to Evogen, “the addition of these new state-of-the art, hands-free products close the circle in reducing the spread of germs and illnesses and create a more upscale atmosphere that enhances guests’ overall comfort.”
Preventing these kinds of outbreaks was at the root of HOSPECO’s development of the complete no-touch restroom. Included are Evogen EV3 No-Touch Menstrual Care Dual Vendor (EVNT3), Evogen EV4 Mini No-Touch Menstrual Care Dual Vendor (EVNT4), Evogen No-Touch Combination Receptacle (EVNT-CWR), and Evogen No-Touch Toilet Seat Cover Dispenser (EVNT1-W).
Evogen EV3 and EV4 No-Touch Menstrual Care Dual Vendors are the only touch-free dispensers for menstrual care products available. These no-touch tampon and pad dispensers go hand-in-hand with the Evogen No-Touch Combination Receptacle, which provides easy, safe, and sanitary disposal of used menstrual care products. The unit dispenses single-use Scensibles Personal Disposal Bags that discourage patrons from flushing used products or wastefully wrapping them in toilet paper. The bags have a pleasant, fresh fragrance and a built-in antimicrobial agent that inhibit the growth of odour-causing bacteria. With a wave of the hand, the receptacle opens, patrons deposit the personal disposal bag, then the unit closes automatically and seals in odours.
The No-Touch Toilet Seat Cover Dispenser — the first and only hands-free toilet seat cover system – features toilet seat covers that create a barrier between guests and surfaces.
Given the fear surrounding the spread of COVID-19, the public is sure to demand additional safeguards against the spread of surface contamination in light of the extraordinary spate of closures and cancellations that have become the new normal across the globe.
