Omron Canada has brought in a new face to push sales within its infrastructure market.
“Omron Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Barnes to the position of Account Manager, Infrastructure,” states the company press release. “Chris will be responsible for Omron’s strategic and tactical actions to increase sales within infrastructure.”
Omron’s infrastructure includes fundamental facilities and systems serving a municipality or city water, waste water, penitentiaries, and hospitals.
Barnes is a Professional Engineer and earned his Masters in Business Administration, from the Schulich School of Business, York University and a Bachelor of Applied Science, Chemical Engineering, from the University of Toronto.
He joins Omron with a strong background in sales and related industries, and will report directly to Mike Joy, Robotics Sales Manager, Canada.
“As a volunteer, for many years Chris served on the Board of Directors of ACCES Employment and the Trillium Health Partners Research Ethics Board (REB),” states the release. ” He is fluent in French and enjoys travelling to other countries, and especially enjoys learning about their cuisine.”
