UPDATED
Solenis, a leading global producer of specialty chemicals, is increasing prices for all polyacrylamide, polyacrylate and organic coagulants across the North America and EMEA regions effective immediately.
Depending on the product, prices will increase* by 8 to 10 per cent in North America, and 5 to 10 per cent across EMEA.
The price increase, according to Solenis, is necessary due to the steep increase of key feedstock materials such as propylene, acrylonitrile, epichlorohydrin, acrylic acid and caustic soda over the last two months.
Solenis is a producer of specialty chemicals for water intensive industries, including the pulp, paper, oil and gas, chemical processing, mining, biorefining, power and municipal markets. *The original press release on the Solenis price increase for all polyacrylamide, polyacrylate and organic coagulant chemicals across the North America and EMEA regions incorrectly listed 3 to 7 per cent for North America, when it should have been 8 to 10 per cent.
