Swish Maintenance Limited has announced the acquisition of Kemsol Products Ltd., a Saskatchewan-based, fourth-generation family-owned and operated company.
“Swish Maintenance is focused on growth opportunities that are a good fit for our existing business,” says Andre Peters, CEO of Swish Maintenance. “This announcement will result in a more competitive Swish with stronger capabilities to service our customers from coast to coast. It enhances our national distribution network and retail Swish Clean-it Centre stores in Canada and builds on our strong position in North America.”
Kemsol began as a distributor of household cleaners in 1934 and has evolved into an institutional and industrial manufacturing supply business. Kemsol manufactures and distributes a complete line of janitorial supply products, including leading environmental product lines.
The acquisition is expected to close September 28th, 2018.  Swish-Kemsol, as it will be known in Saskatchewan, will retain all the existing Kemsol employees and management.  This acquisition is leveraging a 50-year shared business relationship and a customer service first vision.
Established in 1956 in Peterborough, Ont., Swish remains a family-owned business with expanded national power and dynamic local presence to serve our customers through our 18 locations coast-to-coast in Canada and in the North-East United States.
