Active drilling rig count down eight

Canada’s drilling rig count is down eight active drilling rigs according to data collected by Baker Hughes for the week ending April 15.

From one week ago, Alberta rig counts decreased eight to 89 and the Saskatchewan rig counts stayed the same at two.

Oil drilling decreased four to 49 and gas decreased four to 54.
