With the FP 70, KNF has added another low pulsation pump to its smooth flow series. The ltest pump is said to combine the low pulsation from gear and centrifugal pumps and the strengths known from diaphragm pumps.
The KNF self-priming unit can run dry, handles the liquid transfer gently and cleanly and is chemically resistant, the company says.
Thanks to the integration of pulsation dampening technology, it adds, there is no need for additional pulsation dampening elements and tubing when using the model.
The pulsation pump achieves a flow of up to 850 ml/min and is developed for an operation up to 2 bar.
In addition, patented 4-point-valves are said to ensure the reliable self-priming of the pump. Thus, no additional priming pump is required.
The smooth flow pump can be used in a wide range of applications including medical technology, inkjet, 3D printing and analytical instruments.
