Electric tunnel oven reaches 350°F

The No. 1006, an electrically heated 350°F gravity roller, conveyorized tunnel oven from Grieve, is suitable for drying precipitate in pans.

Workspace dimensions of the Grieve oven measure 66 in. wide x 19 ft deep x 15 in. high. Installed are 120 KW Incoloy sheathed tubular heating elements, while a 17,500 cfm, 15 hp recirculating blower provides vertical downward airflow.

The oven features 4 in. insulated walls, aluminized steel interior and exterior and a gravity roller conveyor with 1.9 in. diameter rollers on 6 in. centres. It also includes a 4 ft long open loading zone, 19 ft long insulated heat zone and 4 ft long open uploading zone.
