ABB has announced the latest enhancements to the field-proven CoriolisMaster coriolis mass flow meter series, the FCB400. A new standard electronics platform offers up to five configurable communication outputs via optional plug-in modules. The digital internal communication system ensures maximum accuracy for compact and remote devices without requiring special or proprietary cabling. Using “SensorApplicationMemory”, the flowmeter saves all calibration and user-configuration data and totalizers linked to the sensor in a non-detachable way. This automatic function synchronizes configuration data in the sensor and the transmitter when power is switched on. It duplicates configuration data, storing it in a permanent memory, ensuring safe data synchronization during maintenance and transmitter replacement.
