Larson Electronics has announced the release of an explosion proof low bay LED light fixture that is approved for use in paint spray booths.
This 50-watt low bay light fixture is capable of replacing 250-watt metal halide lamps and emits 7,000 lumens of light. This unit offers an IP67 waterproof rating and has a lifespan of 60,000+ hours.
The EPL-LB-50LED-RT explosion proof low bay LED light fixture is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups C and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. The LED offers a colour temperature rating of 5,600K with 3,000K and 4,500K options available.
This IP67-rated unit has a copper-free aluminum alloy housing with a powder coated finish for added durability. This unit is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277V AC 50/60Hz with a low voltage option available.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof low bay light fixture comes standard with pendant mounting for the ability to hang from the ceiling. Each fixture has an internal junction box and one 3/4″ NPT hub.
This light fixture is suitable for lower mounting heights between 15 feet and 40 feet. Suitable applications include paint spray booths, refineries, chemical manufacturing, and more.
