Endress+Hauser’s new extremely compact Liquiline Mobile CML18 multi-parameter device provides equally fast and accurate monitoring of measured values in the laboratory or process environment using select Memosens sensors like the new CPL51E for pH measurement.
This smart battery powered handheld device is so small, it fits nicely in a lab coat or shirt pocket.
The CML18 provides highly accurate and reliable measurement of pH/ORP and temperature, conductivity and dissolved oxygen, anywhere, anytime. This guarantees the complete consistency of data between field and lab, eliminating challenges like having to reconcile readout mismatches where two measurement technologies – one for lab and one for field measurement – are used. This one device suffices for both jobs.
Compatible Memosens sensors can be connected to the CML18 in seconds. The device immediately identifies the sensor type via inductive coupling, automatically loads the saved sensor data and displays the correct measured value. The user can navigate through the measurement screens and initiate measurements using the two push buttons on the device. (The new laboratory-rated CPL51E is the first Memosens sensor optimally paired with the CML18 for both lab and field measurement; the CPL51E can be used right out of the box with the CML18 without any additional settings.)
The CML18 also can be used to monitor a process over extended periods; its data logger function can store more than 10,000 measured values with a date and time stamp. The device can even be charging while it is in the process of logging extended measurements. Its integrated, wireless charging function enables inductive charging using a Qi-certified charger that can be ordered with the device.
Using Endress+Hauser’s intuitive SmartBlue app on a smartphone or tablet in conjunction with the CML18 provides access to even more functions and data. All measured values and sensor data are transferred between device and app via a secure Bluetooth connection. The SmartBlue app provides a convenient way to make settings, adjustments on the device, read out sensor values and measured values, even calibrate sensors.
