The Ametek Test & Calibration ASC-400 multifunction process calibrator from Cameron Instruments combines features such as % error calculation, scaling, leak-testing and switch calibrating into one unit. The calibrator is able to do simultaneous read-back and fast RTD simulation, connect an RTD for use as a high accuracy thermometer using “True Ohm” technology and includes inputs for thermocouple calibration all with fuseless protection.
The multifunctionality of the unit allows for read and source RTD, thermocouple, current, voltage, frequency, resistance, and pulse train output. It is compatible with the Ametek APM CPF pressure modules which enable it to calibrate gauge or absolute pressure.
It can also be combined with one of the company’s dry block calibrators to calibrate temperature.
