There are test modes for high speed logging up to 128 times per second, hydrostatic testing and templates for pressure calibration of pressure transmitters and gauges that the user whether the device being tested passed or not.
The FieldLab weatherproof outdoor enclosure from Cameron Instruments permits logging data in the field. The unit comes in ranges up to 70 Mpa and has a data logging capability of 2 million data points. The enclosure is rated IP66 and the solar panel and pole mount option allows the unit to be installed permanently.
With the Ralston Instruments PSV Test suite of software and hardware, it is said to be possible to conduct the test and record most of the information on a FieldLab calibrator. After the test is completed the data is then transferred electronically to a PC where a certificate with graphs, customer data, tag data and other required information can be created.
