Atlas Copco Group acquires external gear pumps manufacturer

Atlas Copco Group has announced that it has finalized the acquisition of KRACHT GmbH (Kracht), a manufacturer of high-quality technologies including external gear pumps, fluid measurement, valves, hydraulic drives, and dosing systems.

The acquisition was first announced on Dec. 4, 2023 and is now closed. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Kracht was founded in 1911 and has its headquarters in Werdhol, Germany. The company has subsidiaries in the U.S., China and Hungary, and approximately 440 employees. In 2022, Kracht had revenues of approximately 72 MEUR (766 MSEK*).

The business is now part of Atlas Copco Group’s Power and Flow Division within the Power Technique business area.
