COVID-19 has claimed another conference.
The Operational Excellence in Energy, Chemicals & Resources in Calgary, Alta. has moved from early June to Nov. 30-Dec. 2.
“As of today, we have decided to postpone our Calgary event to November 30 – December 2, 2020.” stated Angeliki Vayanos, marketing manager for the event, in an email to IPP&T. “As I am sure you can understand, we don’t want to put anyone at risk and want to ensure the success of the event so moving it was the best option.”

OPEX is one of many events that have either cancelled or rescheduled – in light of the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19 – and measures being enacted by federal and provincial governments to stem the tide of infection.
