L.J. Star has announced the LumiStar series LED luminaires, suitable for process industry applications that require high intensity light that uses less energy and generates less heat. The series includes the LumiStar3000, LumiStar2000 and LumiStar1000.
The L.J. Star LumiStar3000 is a 74 mm LED sight-glass light that is capable of outputting up to 2600 lumens at full brightness which produces four times the light output of a standard 100 W halogen luminaire with less energy and heat. It offers unprecedented, penetrating illumination of vessels used in pharmaceutical, chemical and food processing, the company says.
The LumiStar1000 is suitable for food and beverage, craft brewing and any application requiring 1000-gallon size vessels.
The auto-dimming feature of LumiStar2000 prevents overheating which works best for chemical applications and vessel sizes from 2500 to 5000 gallons.
All LumiStar LED lights are crevice free and washdown safe. Mount with bracket on the retaining ring of a standard sight window, or clamp mount over a sterile-style sight glass (dedicated light port).
