Canada Sensor Technology (CST) manufacturers advanced “smart” pressure and liquid level transmitters that offer HART communication protocols along with others. Available from Cameron Instruments, the sensors are available in intrinsically safe designs for hazardous locations and general-purpose models for non-hazardous applications.
The intelligent transmitters bring advanced technology to the pressure transmitter and related instrumentation marketplace, the company says, with self-diagnostic features which maintain consistent accuracy through-out temperature and pressure scales.
CST intelligent transmitters are said to achieve higher process efficiencies, consistent accuracy, reliability and safety while improving costs, ease of installation and reduction in maintenance.
