Sloped top Type 4x stainless steel wallmount enclosure meets hygienic requirements

Hammond Manufacturing has introduced a ST SS series Type 4X stainless steel wallmount enclosure with a sloped top and quarter turn hinged door. The sloped top of the Eclipse model prevents water from resting on top as well as providing potential for controls mounting.
Hammond Manufacturing styling features include hidden hinges and latching systems. A wide range of sizes and practical accessories are available, the company says.
Standards of the series include UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, as well as CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12. Units comply with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and IEC 60529, IP 66, while certification include UL File # E65324 and CSA Cert. # LR21001.
Enclosure construction is formed 14-gauge 304 stainless steel and continuously welded seams ground smooth.
Door stiffeners are provided where required for increased strength and rigidity — designed to also permit additional mounting options.
A formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants.
