Thin client solution from the control room down to hazardous areas

Pepperl+Fuchs has announced Industrial Box Thin Client products — pre-installed with its RM Shell firmware, suitable for applications from the control room down to hazardous areas.

The firmware is based on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC, which includes long-term support by Microsoft. Thin client product highlights include:

• dual or quad video options with 4k monitor support;
• 0° to 55°C operating temperature with IP4x passively cooled aluminum housing;
• flexible mounting with desktop, wall, DIN rail or VESA mount options; and
• hazardous location installation with optional UL Division 2 certified units.
