Lutz Pumps has announced the B200 Horizontal Container pump designed for the optimal transfer of thin-bodied to highly viscous media from intermediate bulk containers. Directly connected to the bottom outlet valve of the IBC, containers can be filled or emptied significantly faster and more effectively, the company says.

The Lutz pump provides easy assembly and disassembly and its compact design makes it readily available for multiple applications, it adds.

The unit is available in an explosion proof version for Ex-areas. Liquid examples include mineral oil products, emulsions, solvents, aqueous solutions, alkalis and acids, vegetable oils, cleansing- and cosmetic care products and disinfectants.

Features include:

  • a centrifugal pump with axial impeller in compact design;
  • directly connected to the bottom outlet valve of the IBC with standard union nut (S60 x 6); and,
  • variable drive concept (different universal- and air-driven motors).

Operation against closed valves (e.g. ball valve, nozzle) is possible at any time.
