International Pipeline Conference & Expo kicks off in Calgary

The International Pipeline Conference & Expo has arrived in Calgary for the week of September 23 to 27.

More than 7,500 professionals active in the pipeline industry from around the world have flocked to the BMO Centre at Stampede Park to gain insights from the conference’s technical program and check out hundred of exhibits related to the conventional oil, heavy oil, oil sands, unconventional gas, renewables, and offshore resources.

The IPCE Program consists of nine technical tracks including:

• Pipeline Safety Management Systems
• Project Management, Design, Construction, and Environment
• Pipeline and Facilities Integrity
• Operations, Monitoring and Maintenance
• Materials and Joining
• Strain-Based Design and Assessment
• Risk and Reliability
• Offshore, Upstream, and Production Pipelines
• Emerging Fuels and Greenhouse Gas Emissions

It is estimated that approximately 400 technical papers will be presented at IPC 2024.
