The Kobold MIM all-metal electromagnetic flow meter, or magmeter, measures and monitors small to medium sized flow of conductive liquids. According to Faraday’s Law of magnetic induction, a voltage is induced in a conductor moving through a magnetic field.

The measurement does not depend on the process liquid and its properties such as density, viscosity and temperature.

The two outputs of the Kobold flow meter can be independently set to switch or provide an analog or frequency output.

A batching function can also be selected, where output 1 is set to switch as NPN/PNP/PP and output 2 is set as the control input.

New sizes are available up to 2 in. for both NPT and Tri-Clamp fittings, and expanded flows range from 0.25…48 GPH to 0.8…200 GPM.

New remote display models, temperatures up to 284 °F and IO-Link communication are included.

Units deliver both flow and temperature measurement, as well as switching, batching, and transmitting functions, in addition to bi-directional flow measurement.
