Wajax expands its valve portfolio with Sun Valve agreement

Mississauga, ON-based Wajax has announced that it has become the exclusive Canadian distributor of general industry valves from Sun Valve Inc. Wajax will also distribute SVI’s American Petroleum Institute (API) valves in Canada on a non-exclusive basis. The SVI product line available through Wajax will include ball valves, gate valves, check valves, globe valves and butterfly valves, in line sizes from one-quarter inch to 24 inches and larger.

Based in Edmonton, AB, SVI has more than 20 years of valve manufacturing experience, a large integrated supplier base that includes mills, manufacturers and trim suppliers, and strict quality control with a rigorous inspection process. Its in-house machine shop with precision high-tech machining centres allows SVI to deal quickly with customized and expedited projects.

SVI holds several global and CRN certifications. The current use of SVI products in upstream, midstream, heavy oil upgrading, refining and petrochemical facilities in Canada are evidence of the successful application of its products in the Canadian market.
